Welcome to WECE!

WECE, (pronounced we-see), is University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s organization for women in the electrical and computer engineering department. Despite the name, our organization welcomes members of both genders to be active in the group. Our purpose is to form a community that supports women in electrical and computer engineering. We strive to do this by organizing professional, technical, and social events. Please browse the website to find out more about us and how you can be a part of WECE.

Social Involvement
Become a part of the WECE community! Take a break from studying and meet new people at our social events.
Professional Opportunities
Gain valuable connections in the industry. WECE provides opportunities to network with corporations through luncheons and tech talks.
Technical Skill Development
Learn and have fun at the same time. Spend time with your friends while gaining hands-on knowledge and learn useful technical skills.

Our newest sponsor and friends at Colocation America were nice enough to donate an upgrade to our dedicated server to increase site speed and design.  Colocation America is a proud supporter of diversity in the data center industry and supports the efforts of WECE in their advocacy of women in electrical and computer engineering.
