Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering (WECE, pronounced WE-see) was established as a means of supporting and encouraging women in engineering. Here at the University of Illinois we strive to be a support system for all the women in the ECE department. We intend to achieve our goals by hosting regular social meetings, facilitating faculty mentorship, designing workshops, and inviting guest speakers to give us insight on topics concerning women in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
