Sound to Light Workshop
We will be building a sound to light converter where some LEDs will be synchronized with some music. If you are interested in attending please leave a $5 deposit either in WECE's mailbox on the first floor of Everitt or under the WECE office door room 247 in Everitt. The deposit will be returned upon your attendance of the workshop. The deadline to sign up is on Wednesday November 18th.

TRIVIA NIGHT
IEEE and WECE are hosting a Trivia Night On Thursday Nov.5th 7-9pm @ 1302 Siebel.
Please Join us!!!!!!!!!!!
Light food and drinks will be provided, each person will pay $5.
Professor Huchinson will be the MC from 7-8pm asking participants questions.
Rules of the game:
1. The game will be played in a team of four.
-Each team can choose to invite a professor if possible.
2. Registration.
Email me if anyone is interested, we are getting a head count on how many food we should prepare.
3. We'll play the game in a quiz-bowl format if there are too many teams(ex.15+) to narrow down the number to a X(we'll decide what x is depending on how many teams are there).
- 10 questions total for the eilimination round.
4. We'll use the 'millionaire' format for the teams left after the elimination round.
- The team will be in the front of the room, and MC will ask them questions.
- They can choose questions from many categories by either spinning a wheel with all the categories, or roll a dice, .
- They have 3 help chances. Ask the audiences,ask a friend and Ask the MC.
- When they get it a question right, they can proceed to the next level. At the certain level, the team get to choose if they want to take their prize and leave or they want to proceed to higher difficulty questions and win a bigger prize.
5. .Anyone are more than welcome to participate, so people from other majors, staff-members,
non-uiuc students are all eligible to participate.
The questions are going to be general questions in all fields(ex.movies,sports,history.etc).
There will be some nerdy Engineering questions, but there are three help chances.
6. Invite any orginations you want, and advertise as well.

Join WECE's RELAY FOR LIFE team!
We will be doing a Halloween fundraiser for relay for life by selling candy, baked items and pumpkins at Everitt and at the Illini Union during the week of October 18th - 25th.
Join us and show the Illinois campus that ECE majors can make a difference in the fight against cancer and meet amazing friends in the process!
Volunteer to help WECE raise funds for the cause during the year!
